Mike Costley

Mike learned to play music on his own. Mike is also one of the long time members of Focal Point. Mike started as more of a student of the guitar and quickly became what Will calls the "Professor" of the band.

His musicianship has been a steadfast cornerstone of Focal Point of the band and has matured into the one of the best songwriters in the area. As a matter of fact, Mike's songs and poetry have been noticed by several publicists and has even been asked to submit some of  his work for awards and publication!

Mike plays excellent rhythm guitar and some lead, also plays the harmonica and one of the bands main vocalists. He is also one hell of a songwriter both in lyric and music as stated above.

Mike plays Gibson and Fender Stratocaster guitars using a Marshall amp.
